1. Who we are

NovaPad ("we", "us", "NovaPad") operates a digital marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of digital products — ebooks, courses, templates, software, and similar items — in Ghana and beyond. By creating an account or using NovaPad, you agree to these terms.

2. NovaPad's role

NovaPad is a marketplace, not the creator of most products listed on it. Sellers are independent creators responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of what they list. NovaPad reviews products before they go live but doesn't guarantee every claim a seller makes about their own product.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your password secure.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or abuse other users.

4. Buying on NovaPad

• Payments are processed securely through Paystack; NovaPad never sees or stores your full card or Mobile Money details.
• Digital products are delivered instantly after a confirmed payment, through your NovaPad dashboard.
• Refund requests are reviewed case by case — contact support with your order number.

5. Selling on NovaPad

• Sellers must have the legal right to sell everything they list, including any images, text, or code included.
• Products go through admin review before appearing publicly; NovaPad may reject, suspend, or remove any listing that violates these terms or applicable law.
• NovaPad deducts a commission from each sale before paying out the remaining balance to the seller, at the rate shown in the Seller Dashboard.
• Payouts are made to the Mobile Money or bank details the seller provides, on request, subject to review.

6. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use NovaPad to list or distribute content that is illegal, infringes someone else's intellectual property, contains malware, or is fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful. We may remove such content and suspend the associated account without notice.

7. Intellectual property

Sellers retain ownership of the products they upload. By listing a product, a seller grants NovaPad a license to host, display, and deliver it to purchasing customers. The NovaPad name, logo, and platform design belong to NovaPad.

8. Affiliates and coupons

Affiliate commissions and coupon discounts are subject to the rates and terms shown in-app at the time of the sale, and may be changed or discontinued by NovaPad going forward without affecting sales already completed.

9. Limitation of liability

NovaPad is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, NovaPad isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or for the content, quality, or performance of products sold by independent sellers.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of NovaPad after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information: name, email, phone number.
• Transaction information: orders, amounts, and payment status (not full card/Mobile Money numbers — those go directly to Paystack).
• Usage information: pages viewed, products viewed, and campaign/referral source (UTM parameters), used to understand what's working and to attribute sales correctly to sellers and affiliates.
• Content you provide: reviews, support messages, and — for sellers — the products and store information you upload.

How we use it

• To create and secure your account, process orders, and deliver digital products.
• To calculate seller earnings and affiliate commissions accurately.
• To respond to support requests and send you service-related notifications.
• To improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary data with: Paystack (to process payments), and Supabase (our database and authentication provider, which stores your account data on our behalf). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Cookies and local storage

NovaPad uses your browser's local storage to remember your cart, wishlist, and referral/campaign attribution during a session — this stays on your device and isn't a third-party tracking cookie.

Your rights

You can update your profile information from your dashboard at any time, and request account deletion or a copy of your data by contacting support.
